The Global Cyber Alliance and TikTok Partner to Make Cybersecurity More Approachable and Actionable

Today, the Global Cyber Alliance (GCA) announces a new partnership with TikTok focused on creating a proactive cyber-defense culture to protect Internet users from cybercrime and cyber-enabled fraud.

As the first collaboration of this partnership, and with support from Craig Newmark Philanthropies, GCA and TikTok released the GCA Cybersecurity Toolkit for Individuals – a compendium of free curated tools, resources, and techniques to educate and strengthen understanding of the most common risks and provide actionable steps to mitigate falling victim to them.

TikTok Global Chief Security Officer Roland Cloutier said of the partnership, “The Global Cyber Alliance and TikTok share the commitment to ushering in a safer, more secure world. As a global platform enjoyed by over 1 billion people, TikTok is uniquely positioned to reach audiences at scale as we amplify awareness of free, easy-to-use toolkits that aim to inspire proactive and strong cybersecurity habits.”

GCA President and CEO Philip Reitinger added, “With its global and vibrant community, TikTok provides a powerful platform for spreading cybersecurity awareness and ‘how to’ knowledge at scale, as we work to achieve our commitment to building a safer, more secure world.”

We’re looking forward to building upon this work with TikTok to make security more approachable and actionable! Visit the toolkit at:  https://gcatoolkit.org/individuals/
