Paul Diaz has decades of policy development, analysis, and advocacy experience across a range of Internet-related issues.
Mr. Diaz joined Public Interest Registry (PIR, the operator of .ORG with over 10.8 million active registrations worldwide) in October 2011. He is currently Vice President of Policy and a member of its executive team. He advises the PIR Board, staff and other stakeholders on ICANN developments, manages all aspects of relevant policy issues, and represents PIR in public forums. In addition, Mr. Diaz also leads PIR’s engagement efforts to educate the .ORG Community about Internet-based resources that can support their missions.
Prior to joining PIR, he spent over 12 years at Network Solutions where he managed policy development and compliance initiatives that impacted corporate objectives, and advocacy work before Congress and Executive branch agencies. We
Mr. Diaz began his career as an analyst with Top Secret+ clearance at the Central Intelligence Agency.
