As Executive Director for the European Union and Africa, I support GCA’s mission by developing and sustaining partnerships, and furthering GCA’s collaborative efforts regarding matters of policy, projects, and fundraising in Europe and Africa. What brought me to GCA was the potential of the organization to impact and improve resilience of organizations and individuals in a very practical way and the diversity of stakeholders the organization works with. In all my previous roles I’ve built and sustained relationships and partnerships, so that experience has been quite helpful at GCA. I come from a public policy and international law background and bringing some of those elements into the work at GCA has been very helpful. What I like best about working here is the mission and the opportunity to engage and work on practical projects with a diverse set of stakeholders, as well as the ability to shape tactical priorities in my region.
