“The health of the Internet is entirely dependent on having engaged technical operations communities”

Leslie Daigle, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at our Global Cyber Alliance, was recently interviewed following her appointment as the new Chair of North American Network Operator’s Group (NANOG)‘s Board of Directors.

“The health of the Internet is entirely dependent on having engaged and informed technical operations communities – which makes the NANOG community a key player in ensuring a strong Internet for the future”, she said when asked about what she hopes to contribute during her term.

The organization is committed to the advancement of an open, secure, and robust Internet, by providing a platform that inspires, educates, and empowers our community to work together in building the Internet of tomorrow.

In her role at GCA, Leslie is responsible for the technology strategy that advances the alliances development and deployment of global solutions.

Leslie has been working at the intersection of technology, business/economics, and policy for more than 20 years to drive effective change. Before joining our global nonprofit as CTO, she served as the Internet Society’s first chief internet technology officer.
