GCA Welcomes Its First Craig Newmark Scholar

The Global Cyber Alliance is excited to announce that Chad Burgess has joined the team as our first Craig Newmark Veteran Scholar.

Chad brings an eclectic mix of experience. From earning the right to call himself a Sapper (an esteemed award/recognition in the U.S. Army), to serving as a Battle Captain in Afghanistan, to his entrepreneurial endeavors which helped more than 120 early-stage companies receive investments from investors, to being a graduate of both the Stern School of Business and Texas A&M, Chad has accomplished much, which makes him a fantastic addition to GCA and a great candidate to help GCA further its mission of helping people and organizations around the world mitigate their cyber risk.

Over the next 12 months Chad is going to focus on helping GCA expand its impact within the startup and venture capital arenas and work with our team to build products for implementation around the world.

Welcome to the team, Chad!
