GCA Welcomes Craig Newmark Journalist Scholar

The Craig Newmark Scholars Program is intended for early and mid-career professionals looking to explore the world of cybersecurity and make a positive impact on improving security in their professional and personal communities. Scholars serve one-year terms in positions where they will help drive GCA’s mission and become immersed into the technical, partnership, fundraising, and policy aspects of cybersecurity work. This effort is made possible through the continuing support from Craig Newmark Philanthropies.

We are pleased to welcome our 2021 Journalist Scholar, Anthony Cave: “With some of the cybersecurity issues we’re seeing bubble up not just in the U.S., but worldwide, GCA’s work mirrors that of a watchdog. That means explaining the who, what, where, when, and why as simply as possible for any technology user, which is all of us.”

You can read more about Anthony’s background and what makes him tick on his GCA profile page.
