GCA Proud to Be 2020 a TECA Awards Finalist

GCA’s successful DMARC Bootcamp Series has been selected as a finalist in the “Outstanding Training Initiative” category for this year’s Tackling Economic Crime Awards (TECAs). The TECAs are open to anyone working in the UK and rewards individuals, teams, initiatives, and companies involved in tackling different areas of economic crime. GCA is recognised in the “Outstanding Training Initiative” category for its successful training that promotes outstanding performance and produces identifiable results.

The GCA DMARC Bootcamp comprises five weeks of one-hour online technical sessions targeted to IT and security practitioners. Key features include a detailed course curriculum for each weekly session, with pre-webinar resources emailed to bootcamp registrants. Separate sessions are held for users based on the specific environment they operate in, such as Windows, Linux, or Cloud.  The course concludes with a session on how to analyse and review the reports generated through DMARC implementation, as well as an overview of additional email security protocols beyond DMARC, including DANE and others.

Thousands of organisations across more than 50 countries have participated in the bootcamps. By the end of the bootcamp, participants have enough information to move to the highest DMARC policy level of “reject,” immediately or within a few months.
