India on the Horizon of a New Internet of Trust

Event Description

If your organization has a role to play in the overall trust in the Internet ecosystem of India, then you should attend the country’s first introductory session on the Domain Trust initiative.

Domain Trust is an intelligence-sharing platform created by GCA in partnership with several global actors with the objective to provide malicious domain data coming from banks, cybersecurity firms, e-commerce platforms, telecoms, among others, to registries and registrars so they can take further action on them, namely investigation, suspension, or disablement.

This unique initiative will change the way the Internet industry protects itself against malicious domains, a central infrastructure for global e-crime. After a global start, with swift participation by key stakeholders in the US and Europe, the project now moves to India for its first country-oriented campaign.

We invite you to join this open call for participation and discover the deep impact of Domain Trust and its associated projects with our two speakers, Andy Bates (Executive Director, UK, India, and Middle East at GCA) and Ankush Johar (Director at Infosec Ventures and Ambassador for GCA in India and the Middle East).

IMPORTANT UPDATE: we are very pleased to announce that the ISACA Mumbai Chapter will join this event as ‘Knowledge Partners’. One CPE will be available to ISACA members dependent on 75 % attendance duration and correct registration. Anyone wishing to claim CPE should email domaintrust@globalcyberalliance.org at the conclusion of the event in order to receive their attendance certificate.
