Global Elections Security | UK & Western Europe Roundtable

A secure electoral process increasingly requires collaboration among many stakeholders – governments, political parties and campaigners, traditional media, private sector including election systems and cybersecurity solutions providers, cloud services, social media platforms, civil society, academia, and individual voters.

Elections around the world face a multitude of challenges. Some countries face the challenge of large-scale misinformation and disinformation, which prevent voters from forming opinions based on accurate information. In other countries, cyber criminals are bent on undermining election integrity by causing data loss and manipulating the outcome of elections. These challenges sow doubt in the minds of electorates, cause increased polarization and threaten to weaken countries from within. What innovative solutions and best practices can be developed and/or implemented to better tackle these threats to election security?

The Global Cyber Alliance, supported by CrowdStrike, is conducting focused dialogue around the world to identify cybersecurity needs to secure the integrity of elections. As part of this effort, we are delighted to invite you to an inclusive multi-stakeholder roundtable to discuss how to uphold election security in Western Europe.

The session will take place online on

13 February at 2 pm GMT /  9 am EST

The roundtable will be conducted under Chatham House rules. It will include opening and closing remarks by a CrowdStrike executive and subject matter expert and a facilitated discussion among the attendees.
