Craigslist Founder Wants to Help Protect Journalists and the 2020 Election Process

Craigslist founder, Craig Newmark, and GCA’s CEO and President, Phil Reitinger, sat down with Cheddar today to discuss the new toolkit GCA is in the midst of developing ahead of the 2020 Presidential Election.

Newmark has donated more than $1 million to GCA to help develop the tools necessary to keep journalists and the election process safe. Moreover, Reitinger expresses his concerns regarding the 2020 election, stating there are “still a lot of holes” in the election process for hackers to take advantage of.
